Babies, snow, and fun times!

Poppy Rose (my new best friend!)

It's a funny thing when your best mate has a baby. Going through it all with them right from the start- I found it all fascinating and even downloaded the " what to expect when you're expecting" app on my phone, so I could read up on all the changes that were going on with Kate! ( had to pre warn the boyf incase
he found it on my phone!!!)
Kate didn't have the easiest of pregnancies and was pretty ill at times. As such a close friend it was a journey I went along on aswell and just wanted to help her feel better, as any friend would.
I'm not gona lie, I was worried about things changing so much and losing my friend to a certain extent when the baby came...but that's life- you just have to change aswell and mould with it- things can't stay the same forever.

As soon as I clapped eyes on Poppy Rose I felt such a great love for her. Here was a little girl who was the spitting image of my friend, a little girl so beautiful and so charismatic even at such a young age. Here was a new member of our little gang and what a little dream she is!

I can't wait to watch you grow up Poppy, and be there as your honorary Auntie through all your major mile stones! You're so special to me already, because your Mummy is! Here's to all the exciting adventures we have ahead..... I know there will be many!

Christmas fun times!

Christmas and New Year really was fabulous this year! So many fun times, so much laughter and brilliant times spent with family and friends ( not to mention little new born Poppy- who I love so much that i will blog about her later!!!!)
We even managed to throw in a Christmas house party ...which is always eventful! Happy New Year all! Lets hope 2013 is a blast- 2012 will be a hard one to beat!
